What condition can I expect the clothes to be in?
At Helpsy, we’re on a mission to keep clothes out of the trash and in circulation. Every item we process goes through our proprietary sorting system and is inspected by hand by our team.
We check for common issues such as:
• Stains
• Pilling
• Holes
• Missing buttons
• Broken zippers
We remove anything that doesn’t meet our standards, but secondhand clothing is never perfect. Minor signs of wear are part of the process — and part of the value.
All items are sold as bulk secondhand assortments and are not individually curated unless explicitly stated.
What counts as “excessive damage”?
We define excessive damage as anything that significantly impacts wearability or resale, including:
• Large, non-washable stains
• Significant pilling
• Large holes (bigger than a dime) not on a seam
• Excessive wear or fading
• Heavy customization (e.g., team logos, niche events)
• Large rips or tears
Minor flaws — such as small washable stains, light pilling, or wear at seams — are common in secondhand clothing and may appear in your order.
Our goal is that no more than 10% of items in any order contain severe issues, and we stand behind that commitment.
What if I receive items that are too damaged?
We’re human — and secondhand isn’t perfect — but we’re here to make it right.
If more than 10% of your order contains damage you believe is excessive, please contact us within 7 business days of tracked delivery.
Please include:
• Photos of the affected items that clearly show brand and flaw
Once reviewed, we may offer a partial credit or request a return at our expense, depending on the situation. We’ll work with you to find the best solution.

When can I expect orders to be shipped?
We fulfill orders on a rolling basis as inventory becomes available and ship via FedEx. You will receive an email from shop@helpsy.com automatically when tracking information is available.
Because we are constantly collecting and sorting, orders may ship in stages, meaning items may go out as soon as they are ready rather than waiting for the full order to be completed.
In general:
• In-stock items ship quickly
• Newly sorted items ship as they become available
Our goal is simple: get product into your hands as quickly as possible while maintaining quality standards.
Please note: FedEx provides estimated delivery times once an order has shipped. These estimates refer to transit time, not fulfillment time. Fulfillment time (the time it takes us to prepare and ship your order) varies based on inventory availability.
Are there any additional terms of sale?
We want to make sure expectations are clear so you can feel confident in your purchase:
• Because our products are secondhand and sold in bulk, all sales are generally final. If your order falls outside of our quality standards, we’re always happy to review and make it right.
• Unless specifically noted, we’re not able to guarantee exact brands, sizes, or styles within each assortment
